In its original fitted case with ivory-handled tuning wrench.

An identical zither is illustrated on p.32 of Martin Guitars, A History, by Johnston & Boak.

 Brachet was a renowned zither player, composer & teacher, born in Prussia in 1828, who immigrated to Philadelphia in 1860, and lived, gave musical instruction & sold instruments at 602 Callowhill St.
